Lucidity Supports Taiwanese Cinema and Forest Sustainability, Discovering the Beauty of Taiwan Through Film

Following a private movie screening held earlier in 2026, Lucidity once again invited employees to enjoy a film together. This time, the company selected the Taiwanese nature documentary Island of Sacred Trees. Through its portrayal of Taiwan’s forests and ecosystems, the film offered employees an opportunity to rediscover the magnificence, diversity, and vitality of Taiwan’s natural environment.

Taiwan’s natural ecosystems have long been an important focus for Lucidity. Over the years, the company has not only focused on its business operations but has also continued to take concrete action to support environmental conservation. For six consecutive years, Lucidity has worked with the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency to promote tree planting and reforestation initiatives, with a total investment of NT$7 million to date. Starting with a single tree and extending to entire forests, these ongoing efforts reflect Lucidity’s long-term commitment to protecting Taiwan’s natural environment and promoting forest sustainability.

The film Island of Sacred Trees gave employees a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s forests. One employee shared that what impressed them most was watching the “tree seekers” team climb sacred trees more than ten meters tall. As the team overcame challenges step by step and finally reached the treetops, the experience made the viewer feel as if they were part of the journey, experiencing the awe and passion of exploring nature firsthand.

Other employees shared that their previous understanding of Taiwan’s forests may have been limited to what they encountered in everyday life. Through the film, they discovered the richness and preciousness of Taiwan’s natural ecosystems and gained a deeper appreciation of the importance of protecting forests and cherishing natural resources. The research team’s passion and perseverance in protecting the land also reminded employees that environmental conservation requires more than ideas—it requires continuous action.

A film allowed us to discover the hidden beauty of Taiwan’s forests, while a private screening brought together support for Taiwanese cinema, appreciation for the land, and a commitment to sustainability. Through every action, Lucidity hopes to help more people discover the beauty of Taiwan while continuing to create a greener and more sustainable future for the land we share.
